This morning we went for a walk around 4000m. To descend to base camp, we cut through the scree. Time to say Wow, we're already there! This is quite handy as a technique, but by cons, it is mandatory to clean the shoes, socks and pants after. In the afternoon, we take the opportunity to make our last washing and preparing our backpacks to camp 1.

After climbing Island Peak (6189m), I am tempted by the ascent of a summit over 7000m. Peak Lenin in Kyrgyzstan seems to be a good idea. By cons, it must fully review the equipment (shoes, jackets, gloves, pants, socks: ALL!). I meet 3 people attracted to the summit via the forums. Before leaving for adventure, we meet to chat and get to know. The big day, we go each a different city, and we find ourselves in Moscow, to the rest of the way together. Once we arrived in Osh, we do some shopping to live, and especially what we rest after long walk. The next day we leave for Achik Tash Base Camp of Lenin Peak, located 3600m. The camp is where we get all comforts: shower, toilet, and kitchen!
